Tracy is the Founder and Managing Director of Eny’s Treats Pvt Ltd. She is a passion driven young entrepreneur who graduated with a BSc in Agriculture-Crop Science at the University of KwaZulu Natal. Her entrepreneurship journey began in 2018 when she started using her academic knowledge together with a 3 years’ work experience in indigenous plants that have commercial value. She has always had an aspiration to see Zimbabwean food be transformed into competitive products on the market.

Eny’s Treats which was named after Tracy’s late mother who embraced her entrepreneurial skills, specialises in healthy snacks for the upmarket health-conscious consumers. The snacks are a variety of seed bars, balls, trail mix and seed butter. Products are made as natural as possible and most of the raw ingredients are sourced locally from rural small-scale farmers/producers. Recently, Eny’s Treats partnered with the Zimbabwe Resilience Building Fund in training a group of rural women and youths on value addition of natural food resources.

Tracy participated in the FemBioBiz Accelarator program as well as Youth Connekt program where she was awarded the First Runner Up Prize for Mashonaland Central. She was also the Start-Up Business Winner for CBZ YEP 2019.

Born on the 26th of August 1991, Gamuchirai Nyamakura is a lady who in simple terms, can be described as ambitious, courageous and focused. She is a holder of a BSc Honors Degree in Agriculture majoring in Animal Science from the University of Zimbabwe. After graduation, Gamuchirai acquired soft skills through a capacity building training on access to formal sector employment and a Passport To Success Training which was implemented by PROWEB under the Zimbabwe:Works program facilitated by the International Youth Foundation (IYF) in 2016. Through this program she was placed on internship program at one of Zimbabwe’s reputable feed processing companies, Profeeds Private Limited, where she was a sales assistant with outstanding remarkable performance. Gamuchirai worked for Profeeds for a year before she resigned in order to pursue her farming career. She applied for a paid agriculture exchanged program on a dairy farm in Australia so as to obtain practical experience and capital before starting her own operation. This pathway unfortunately didn’t take off, however she gathered up all the boldness she needed to start her farm operation regardless. Without land or any capital she took her first step and registered her company, Farm Scope Private Limited. She pitched her business plan to family and friends and managed to acquire three investors. She managed to rent a 15ha plot were she planted 10ha of sunflowers and 5ha of sugar beans in 2018 and 2019 season continued with the sunflowers.

She is a board member of Zimbabwean Women in Animal Resources Farming Network (ZWARFA-N) which is an affiliate to African Union Inter-African Bureau for Animal Resources (AU-IBAR) and Ahoyi.Africa.

She aspires to further her education and obtain a master’s degree in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management.

*#Kudzai Rosemary Makaza*, a food technologist and Managing Director of Foodovation t/a Artisanal Foods.

She holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Food Processing Technology from the Harare Institute of Technology.

Kudzai who is only 24 years old, started her entrepreneurship journey back in 2017 during her 3rd year and turned a school project into a business making green banana flour and has added more products to make baobab juice, baobab cream liqueur, jujube tea and dried ripe banana chips.

She has experience working at Kefalos cheese during internship and 3 months after graduating, worked as a quality controller at Cairns foods for 2 years before proceeding into running her own business full time.

Kudzai is a passionate and diligent worker who bursts with innovative ideas and enjoys to see her ideas come to fruition. She is a natural leader with a clear vision of where she wants to go and who she intends to be.

Kudzai is an alumni of the Freidrich Eibert Stiftung leadership training and has also won the Green Enterprise Award 2nd place for best young entrepreneur in February 2020.

Beverley Nyakutsikwa is a passionate young woman with interests in water and sanitation, organic foods and girls in science. She is a holder of a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Urban Water and Sanitation. Beverley is a business development engineer for NuWater Zimbabwe, a company that assembles modular water treatment plants that can be used in various setups including industries, municipalities and mines. Her interest in water also resulted in her participating in a mentorship and exchange program for women called TechWomen from this program she got to experience water management from a different perspective especially regards the management of demand in water scarce regions.

She is an active member of Women in Engineering division (WIE) which falls under the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers (ZIE) and she is a secretary of the executive committee. This is a voluntary organisation providing support and community for women in engineering from school level up to those in industry. They also provide mentorship to students in primary and high school. Some of their activities to date include participating in career guidance sessions, conducting mentorship programs in schools and universities, and interactive and networking activities for women in engineering.

Beverley is very passionate about good food and this has led her start up her own food brand called BF Organics which supplies mbambaira (sweet potato) crisps, magogoya (coco-yams) crisps, and gluten free cakes (chocolate and banana variants). Additionally, she is venturing into chicken rearing as well.

Ruvimbo Bernadette Vambe a Marketing Practitioner by Training and an Entrepreneur at heart is the Marketing and PR Officer of the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe. With over 10 years of experience in Administration and Marketing having held various positions in different sectors, Ruvimbo has exceeded her principals’ expectations and this has developed strong interpersonal and organisational skills which have nurtured in her a passionate marketer who is highly skilled in Public Relations and Communication.

A versatile and mature person, hard worker and innovative thinker, Ruvimbo is in charge of the Marketing and PR function of the Institute responsible for monitoring the institute’s marketing strategy to ensure good customer care and brand visibility.

Ruvimbo is a passionate entrepreneur and she is the founder and owner of Ruvade Incorporated T/A Tammy’s Classic Foods.

Tammy’s Classic Foods manufactures and distributes dried foods with the following products currently being sold in the market (Roasted Corn, Nuts and Peanut Butter).

Ruvimbo is a member of Marketers Association Zimbabwe (MAZ), PROWEB and is also the Chief Administrative Officer of Women in Insurance Zimbabwe (WIZ).

She is a holder of a BBA Degree in Marketing Management (IMM), Diploma in Financial Management, Certified Digital Marketer and Currently studying towards an MBA (Dissertation Level) with the Women University in Africa.
